Casa Mexicana is a jewel of a hotel located in downtown Tapachula.
Though the hotel is a new project, it is situated in a preserved 100 year old building with the original thick adobe walls, tall wooden columns and old wooden beams.
The architect and owners paid close attention to detail in the remodelation process, making every effort to restore the building to the original old world Mexican charm.
Each of the 10 rooms is individually decorated and named for 10 famous women in Mexican history.
All rooms have private bathrooms with toilet, sink, hot showers and color cable television.
Each room is individually air-conditioned with remote controls and tastefully decorated wtih antique light fixtures and 200 year old headboards for the queen-sized beds.
All 10 rooms look out onto a beautiful tropical garden with a pool and sundeck.
